L'ART CONCEPTUEL EN AMERIQUE ET EN ANGLETERRE 1963-76

CONCEPTUAL ART IN AMERICA AND ENGLAND 1963-76 is the result of a study of Thomas Dreher's highly theoretical and complex writings on conceptual art. Indeed, through his texts, Thomas Dreher brings numerous little known historical and iconographic references. Thus, I am interested in bringing out in the text the information relating to each of these references and finally to illustrate them. The whole website and book is organised as a round trip between text, figures and illustrations. Thus, the edition unfolds in the form of an index.

Eero Typeface

The Eero typeface is inspired by the visual practice and aesthetics of American designer and architect Eero Saarinen. He is interested in banishing all right angles in order to integrate new forms into architecture and industrial design : curvilinear and organic.This typeface is the result of a reflection on the limit between form and letter, between readibility and aesthetics, between the application of a principle from a formal repertory and the improvisation of it.

BRUTALIST ARCHITECTURE ON INSTAGRAM

Brutalist architecture on Instagram is a compilation of 300 publications collected on #brutalist_architecture in the Instagram social network. With the different publications, the book tries to give a specificity to the confused limits of the term and movement of Brutalist architecture.
Thus, in this edition, it is a question of taking into consideration the daily activity of the hashtag and giving a real importance to its content. Accordingly, I am interested in giving a volume, a presence, a reality to this database.

Catalog of artists’ books

Considering publishing as a tool of monstration and diffusion, I use these capacities to give a physical existence to the artists’ books that make up the collection of the Bibliothèque des Abattoirs de Toulouse. Indeed, these books are kept for conservation reasons in a place prohibited to the public. No element announces their existence within the reading space.
I wish to give visibility to books other than through exhibitions, because that would contradict the values of this same practice, which is intended to be on the sidelines of institutional exhibitions. It is therefore with the cards — in relation to the reading and classification cards of the library — that I inform them of their existence.

VADUZ

«Vaduz» is an emblematic work of the sound poetry of Bernard Heidsieck. He decides to place Vaduz, (which is the capital of this mini-territory located in the center of Europe), at the very center of our globe. Thus, Vaduz becomes the starting point for all ethnic groups in the world. The poem by Bernard Heidsieck (or the lyrics) revolves around a composition which represents a cartographic and topographical sample of the city of Vaduz (and more generally of Liechtenstein). Accordingly, it is a question of giving a physical existence to Vaduz and of showing what is identifiable to this territory to finally evoke its central position. Here, it is characterized by the words, that is to say all the ethnic groups that the author quotes.

The International Summer Academy of Biel

The International Summer Academy of Biel offers master classes for instrumental students. The professors are internationally recognized and occupy places in universities. I realized the layout of the presentation journal of the event during an internship at Guerillagrafik. The layout system is based on scores that combine horizontality and functionality with reference to music.
